D. Wells Farms, established in 1982 by Daniel and Diana Wells, produces approximately 10 million bareroot seedlings each year. We harvest from November through March, weather permitting. Our seedlings range in age from eight months to three years at the time they are dug. The primary markets for our conifer seedlings are reforestation and reclamation projects, woodland owners, nurseries, and Christmas tree farms. Our deciduous trees are mostly rootstock for shade trees.
